1. CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO WORLDS by: Larry Taylor/ Writing this newsletter which I have written for years is like being caught between two worlds! After each newsletter, I receive some feedback, which I always carefully consider and pray about before the next issue's writing. Years ago when I wrote the newsletter the choices seemed easier. It was right or left? Front or back? Christian or religious? Black or white? About the church or about the world? Spirit of God or spirit of antichrist?
Now, over the last few years, something has changed. It has changed significantly in so many ways.
Now, I do receive some great feedback and am blessed with many sharings of the lives of my readers. And I am so thankful of that!
However, over the last couple of years, I have received some very negative feedback from readers that selfishly and boldly think that I need to only write or include articles in this newsletter that are in agreement with their individual beliefs.
If I fall into that trap, then I've been required to write every reader on my list of names an individual newsletter catering to each individual's belief and taste. However, as I do not choose that direction in writing, I will continue to pray over the newsletter and write what I am impressed!
Example: Much criticism came my way when I began to write a warning on Deception and Delusion in our midst and included UFO, aliens, Chupacabra reports, unknown phenomenon, planet Mars, etc. I received notices to remove these people from the mailing list if I was going to include subjects like that in future issues of the newsletter.
My response was-----I removed them as they had requested. I still live on planet Earth amongst everyday people that are experiencing these strange things in their life. Daily, people are seeing and being affected by strange happenings. Everyday, around the world this is happening!
The word strange is in the Bible. Look it up and it might just surprise you as to its usage. I certainly believe that we are in the end-times and the time of deception and delusion warned of in the Bible. So, I must continue to write and warn my readers, even if the subject matter is very uncomfortable for you.
I want you to be alerted to happenings that are around us and not caught off-guard later to subjects that your mind could not consider or comprehend! I would rather to have warned you----and you not believe it, than to have never warned you at all!
Case in point: After recent newsletter regarding an article mentioning UFO activity, I received a letter from an older couple living in the northeastern USA (names withheld by my decision) who have been on my mailing list for about 7 or 8 years. Their letter had a prayer request and added: "one more thing, Yes, there are 'Flying Saucers.' We seen 2 of them right over us years ago. Our son was young and oh, he cried and was so afraid (we were also). But they are real, that's for sure."
Husband's age is 72 and I was thankful they wrote and shared this short experience with me. So, you see, things happen to people and many never share the experiences with anyone, but that doesn't mean they didn't happen, just means we are ignorant of the happenings!
I will continue to report and write in this newsletter what I am impressed is important to the reader in a collective manner. My readers are from many different cultures and races. From many beliefs and levels of knowledge. From young to the very old. But all readers of this newsletter are important to me. So, I feel somewhat caught between two worlds.
An interesting thought is on an ad I saw of Steven Spielberg's new mini-series in 10 parts to be shown on SCIFI Channel beginning Dec. 2, 2002 called TAKEN. It reads," Some secrets we keep. Some are kept from us!"
So, I will continue to write this newsletter to keep the mailing list informed of important issues in our daily lives. And I hope you use references I give you to search out the information for yourself. Well, I very seldom go to movies, (the last one being BRAVEHEART back in 1996) but this one caught my attention, primarily just to see what the controlled media and Hollywood was putting out to program the population. After viewing this Hollywood production, I came away knowing that it was indeed "programming" to instill in the viewers minds that the existence of Crop Circles are signs, and intelligent life on other planets was a possibility, if not an out right reality. Even though this movie depicted the aliens as the "boogie man", I believe when the time comes for the "powers that be" to play their alien card, these aliens will either be presented as benevolent creatures that have come to earth to help us and lead us to a higher level of consciousness, or a common threat to our existence, thus uniting the world to fight against them. 8. World Challenge, Inc. LETTER 11/11/02 by: David Wilkerson/ In the most trying of times, the Lord instructs us to rejoice and be glad in him. In Psalm 9, David says," I will be glad and rejoice in Thee" (verse 2). Why? Because "the Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed in times of trouble" (verse 9).
I believe that one of the greatest testimonies to a fearful and bewildered society will be the peace, joy and serenity of God's people in times of distress and terror. Those who trust the Lord completely will be given supernatural rest and peace. No evil report will rob them of their gift of confidence in God's faithfulness to them.
Here in New York City we see signs of a great financial storm brewing. Next year this city faces a six-billion dollar black hole, with the possibility of 25,000 layoffs of city workers. New York City employs over 250,000 municipal workers. Wall Street is laying off many thousands more, in addition to the 20,000 who have already been laid off.
We see more and more homeless people sleeping on the streets in cardboard boxes. City shelters are now overcrowded, and the problem grows worse by the week. Vacant office space is mounting. Rents are falling. A number of fire stations will be closed. Not a single government official, state or city, has a solution. The city cannot borrow any more money. The state cannot bail out the city, because it faces a budget shortfall exceeding $10 billion. The mayor is warning the city that very hard times are coming. Even now, signs of civil unrest are evident.
I have been warning for a long time that America's largest, most prosperous city will go bankrupt. I have also predicted that New York City is going to explode with over 1,000 fires raging throughout the entire metroplex.
I tell you, we are nearing the fulfillment of this awful prophetic vision I've seen coming. A season of total anarchy is racing down upon us. Young people will be breaking into clothing stores, stealing everything in sight. Unemployed workers will also take to the streets, looting and burning. In the not-too-distant future, the National Guard will not be able to handle all the street warfare. I am so sure of this that I am making contingency plans to be in a position to shelter and feed as many people as possible during this period of chaos. We will not run. I am really searching and trying to find my way past the great spiritual dust-storm presently created by the WAR drums that are beating. There is something out there, a sinister and well-devised plan, being slowly implemented on the other side of this WAR storm? It is there and I am searching it out.
