1. LETTER TO EDITOR by: Stephen M. Yulish Ph.D. [Jan. 5, 2004] / Congratulations to NASA, JPL, and our own Flagstaff USGS scientists on the successful deployment of the Mars Rover, "Spirit". As recent failures by the Japanese and the British have all too clearly demonstrated, this was a very difficult mission. Kudos again to all involved. I have long followed our country's exploration of Space. I attended Case Institute of Technology as a freshman in 1965 on scholarship to study Astronomy and exobiology (life on other planets). Several years earlier I had even written a short story for Analog Science Fact and Fiction magazine about a manned flight to Mars. Dr. Carl Sagan had long been a role model of mine, so I reluctantly decided to attend his Lowell Observatory Centennial Lecture at NAU several years ago. Sadly, I discovered that while he was the same man that I had known and admired years earlier, I was no longer the same man that I once had been. This came to mind once again when I read the article, As Rover Zooms Towards Mars, NOVA is There, (ADS, 01-03-04) where Ms. Elber quoted chief engineer, Gentry Lee as exclaiming, "Maybe life evolved first on Mars and was knocked off the surface and carried to the Earth. Maybe we are all Martians." I have discovered, in my lifetime quest for the origin and meaning of life, that it takes far more faith to believe that we accidentally evolved from Martian debris, then it does to believe that we were created in the image of a loving God. 1. 7. A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE [excerpt] by: Ricky D. Randolph / Recently someone sent me a testimony of a near death experience. A small portion is listed here: Ricky D. Randolph was a correctional officer in 1982 for the Georgia Department of Corrections. On a December morning, the year 1982, Ricky Randolph went hunting on the Chattahoochee River in Georgia by his home. He fell a long distance and landed on a rock. In the experience of his "near death experience" [experience very detailed but this is excerpt only from the story] Ricky Randolph was shown what lies ahead: "I turned and saw the Earth in a turmoil! Wars and death, terrible sights! Cities fell and new ones were built! I saw the United States and a volcano exploding covering many cities in darkness! I looked on and saw the collapse of our government as we know it. People killing for food and water, horrible sights! I saw what seemed to be a giant explosion in the Earth's atmosphere and much land was destroyed! I looked on and saw a new type of people, younger and of a peaceful nature. 9. A DREAM by: Jane in Missouri [taken from Corner Gathering Newsletter] / In my dream, I was sitting on a log in Montana. The sun was shining, a bee was buzzing --- it was a gorgeous day. All of a sudden, I could see the state of Washington on the West Coast. The ocean had come in over the land and Washington was gone. All I could see was the ocean where Washington had been. The ocean was all gray, like after a big storm and there was no more Washington. I assumed that the whole West Coast was gone. 12. MALACHI MARTIN'S WARNINGS by: Larry Taylor / Looking into the Warnings of Malachi Martin brings one into the world of shadows and enigmatic clandestine words. Truth written as Fiction -- exposure in words! Certainly there were serious warnings from Martin that we are in the so termed: Last Days! Martin expressed this on any number of radio interviews just before his mysterious death. On Art Bell's Coast To Coast AM programs, he spoke of terrible clandestine events transpiring within the Catholic Church, an event or sign he was looking for in our sky/space, and on alien/UFO contact issues. Malachi Martin's death was in New York City on July 27, 1999. A Dallas Morning News report stated, "In biblical times they would have called him a prophet!" During the programs with Art Bell you could sense Martin holding back information he greatly desired to give the masses! Martin even at times stated he could not give a complete answer as he wished because of oaths he had taken. Now that he's gone did we miss something? Maybe! Maybe not? A few years later, in 2004; I recently heard Art Bell talking of Malachi Martin and saying that there were some things Malachi Martin had secretly told him (Art) and that in time he (Art Bell) would reveal them! — stay tuned!
13. BACK TO THE MOON? by: Larry Taylor / Well, as the New Year 2004 gets under way, there is news we may go back to the moon and then on to Mars! In a 2003 copyrighted story by The Hickman Report, and article by Jim Marrs in regards to transcripts of the Apollo 11 mission with Astronauts Aldrin, Collins, and Armstrong, headlines read: "Astronauts Report UFO's On The Moon!" Remember my article PENETRATION [issue 7-2003 Aug-Oct] in regards to the book "Penetration" by Ingo Swann, where Swann remote views the moon and observes buildings, machinery and beings on the moon. And Swann was given the indication we were told to stay away from the moon! Anyway, after that we didn't go back! Three moon craft sat and rotted. Interestingly, author Shane Johnson, wrote the 2002 Fiction Novel: ICE about another Apollo Mission to the Moon that when we arrived, we found we had already been there. SECRET PROPHECY LETTER FROM ARMENIA - 1852 Update! by: Larry Taylor / For those who are following this story and search by me on the Secret Prophecy Letter written by the "Boy Prophet" named: Efim Gerasemovitch Klubniken in 1852 Armenia, then came with the Armenian peoples to this country still sealed, according to Demos Shakarian — I have located another person (named withheld at this time) closely associated with Demos who told me the Secret Letter is in Los Angeles, CA and is still unopened. Reportedly only one sent by God can open this letter without finding death! Demos Shakarian believed the letter contained directions needed at a future time by the ancestors of the Armenian people in America and a direct word for the Christians in America at that time too!
