PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- More than 70 pets have been reunited with their owners after being rescued from flood areas in Lake County.
Dogs, cats and a rabbit have been taken to dry land since the water rose Thursday.
The Medina County Animals Disaster Team has been working around the clock reuniting pets with their owners, NewsChannel5 reported.
One woman said her father had to be rescued but that his adult dog and puppy were left behind.
"I don't know if he can even get out," the woman said about the puppy.
The adult dog has been found, but not the puppy.
Melissa Nicholson got her blind dog and two cats back on dry land.
"It's my baby. It's my life," said Nicholson. "Thank you so much everybody."
