LAKEWOOD, Co. -- Pets can do amazing things. Just ask Keven Huffstutler.
The Lakewood man had a diabetic episode Sunday night that caused him to fall repeatedly and lose consciousness.
His faithful German shepherd, Tucker, didn't leave his side during the more than three-hour ordeal.
Huffstutler couldn't walk or talk as his blood sugar fell dangerously low.
He said Tucker jumped into his lap and barked and even rolled him toward the phone to call for help when he fell.
Huffstutler was able to dial the operator, who ultimately sent paramedics to his home.
He said Tucker didn't stop there. During his recovery, the devoted dog put his head up on the bed repeatedly to check on him.
