The Building of Just Another Mosque in New York City
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Nine years ago this morning the WORLD paid WITNESS to the most successful act of terrorism ever inflicted on a civilized nation. On a people who had no real anticipation of such an act of barbaric perportion, it was incredibly devastating. It was something beyond anything it's planers had previously planned or accomplished. It was indeed unique. Something the TERRORISTS would like the whole world to see and fear on a daily basis.
Some people have made comment of the “historic” prescedence of erecting massive houses of worship at the place of their VICTORY. But no one could ever think of doing such a thing in downtown New York City. Who could imagine such a furthur ATROCITY?
Well someone wants to build A MOSQUE. They purchased land and set up a corporation. They went to the city itself and cleared legalities against the emotional outcry of those whose lives were devasted by that “magnificently successfull” attack against “THE GREAT SATAN”.
Shortly after the attack, many anti-American Islamic FUNDAMENTALISTS made simularly procative comments. For some reason I remember that one comment that was made as many “young men” stood around a fire burning home made american flags and fired their guns in the air. They claimed and revelled in this VICTORY, just as any american youth would claim a part of the celebration after a win on the football field or basketball court.
It is interesting how such memories are indelably etched in your mind. One such memory came as SCUD missles fell on Israel launched from Saddam Hussein's Iraq. Celebrants in the GAZA STRIP cheered as the children chanted “FIRST ON SATURDAY, THEN ON SUNDAY” over and over and over. They too burned in effagy President Bush #1 and home made American flags.
Now someone wants to build a Mosque.
That is all there is. Add to it the FIRST AMMENDMENT RIGHTS to FREEDOM of speech, and of RELIGION. Add to that the RIGHT to USE one's PERSONAL PROPERTY as one wishes.
Now such are the RIGHTS of a FREE NATION. A CIVILIZED population that has learned the hard lessons of “intolerance” and “hatred” in it's short but intense history.
On the other hand historical ISLAM has never really accepted the strange concepts of RIGHTS or TOLERANCE. Which makes me wonder about the actual signicicance of building just another Mosque.
In the last week that wonderous Sufi Imam, one Feisal Abdul Rauf, returned from his most recent jaunt across the Islamic World. He came warning the UNITED STATES of AMERICA that a failure to build his Mosque would anger and upset groups in that recently visited Islamic World. It would be a stimulus for unhappy Islamic Youth to burn more American Flags. To stage spontanious anti-American Rallies in front of prepositioned cameras. So all of us in THE LAND OF THE FREE and THE HOME OF THE BRAVE will quake in terror and beg the wonderfull Imam and his wife Daisy to build their little Mosque just as they have planned.
Now Feisal our Sufi Imam founded the “CORDOBA INSTITUTE” in 2003. It is a registered nonprophet, oh, excuse me there....a nonprofit organization. So Feisal, old boy, this has been your personal plan for seven years. But it was 2009 that the whole mosque thingy took root. Funny how the name was changed as your plan came out in the light of day. Now it is what? Park 51 complex?
Well friend Feisal, while you were travelling on THE STATE DEPARTMENT'S DIME, wife #3 told the world that any person who stood up against your plans was an ISLAMAPHOBE, a HATER OF ISLAM, which goes along with the shouts of “biggotry” and “racism” that were flying across the political scene of late.
Such rhetoric is not indusive to Architecture and Engenering any “bridges” that I have ever imagined.
Personnally I am not really a bigot, a racist, or “your average intolerant Ugly American”. When Iraq and Iran were killing each other I could have cared less. For centuries Shi'ah has killed Sunni with no assistance from me. Historically Islam spead across the world by the Sword. Like all conquering empires it fractured and dimminished. Holy Jihad will not work as it once did. To once again raise up a great army to march out into the world is a death warrant. The claim of 1.3 billion Islamic adherents as an active player in the global power as not a viable theory. Numerically China and India are your equals, but in technology Islam is still a feudal empire. And will never get much beyond that unless you and Islam can keep Iran from starting a nuclear war.
Now let's go back to “your baby”, the Cordoba institute. Now you have openly declaired your thoughts on it. One must wonder why anyone might oppose you. What reason could anyone have to the IDEA of peacefull intentions.
Let me start with the most obvious to myself. Impeccably BAD TASTE. A compasionate man would see the hurt and pain in those who tried to verbally explain the continued TRAUMA to those who have lost family and friends to TERRORISTS. Now you tried to placate their grief while continuing towards your goal.
You asked them to learn TOLERANCE and get on with their lives. Where was your TOLERANCE?
In my studies I have found ISLAM as a belief system devoid of COMPASION and TOLERANCE.
In Pakistan there has been flooding with great devestation. Where is the ASSISTANCE from your ISLAMIC NATIONS? Now your “GREAT SATAN” spent no time hesitating, but sent every effort to a nation who cooperates with TERRORISTS. Back in 1990 Kuwait was invaded and occupied by Iraq.
Islamic Fundamentalists decried the blasphemy of infidals walking on their holy sand. Nothing America does will change how radicals will “feel” or “act”.
I do not “hate” anyone. But I have a really intense abhorance to your plans for the Cordoba Mosque.
Yes, you are playing the Media most effectively. You may now stand up and MAKE DEMANDS that are unavailable to the residents of any other nation on this planet. You are finding many allies and supporters who will bend and twist themselves to accomadate you and your goals. Politically “the WILL of the PEOPLE” has little meaning for those who hold the reigns of power.
To all intents and purpose you will be victorious. Whether you will even begin construction matters little. The reality is that the destruction of America from within and from without will get in your way.
What was written by the HOLY PROPHETS over 2000 years ago is about to take place. They revolve around THE COVENANT PEOPLE. Those times were set and established since the FOUNDATION of the World. Now as they play out upon the world stage we will see who actually sits on THE HEAVENLY THRONE.
From my point of view “HATING” anyone is a useless waste of time and energy. In fact it borders on being humerous. King David wrote a song, a Psalm that I found most reassuring many years ago. Each and every day it flows through my thoughts.

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
It is good to walk with THE SON. To serve and worship OUR HEAVENLY FATHER
Think well upon this day and its meaning Americans feel.
