As we awoke today, we saw a brilliant light in the fields behind our farmhouse. It was not an appartition, nor a UFO nor a burning bush... It was simply the sunrise over our farm here in Australia on this, the 13th day of June in the year of our Lord 2000 A.D.
The frosty conditions of the night had left a fog over the land and the light of the Sun shone through the "lonesome tree" at the north end of our small pond. A small dove sat on the railing around the lonesome tree....
The brilliance of the light which we could not look at directly shot through the tree's branches....
Swirls of fog were illuminated and textured by the light and the shadows of the branches which fell upon the still waters between us and the light....
And, our feet stood in the shadowed, green pasture between us and the still waters....
As we pondered this mystical scene, several scriptures from the Bible came to mind See what comes to mind for you when you look upon the big picture above:
PSALMS 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
PSALMS 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
